Cailyn Cosmetics Dizzov'It Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm Review

Today I have a review for all the ladies who feel exasperated when it comes to removing makeup at the end of a long day. Usually by the time I plop myself down at my vanity at night I am in no mood to scrub off crunchy mascara, eyeliner and foundation. We all want our makeup to be long-lasting but all those waterproof formulas and layers need to come off sometime! No matter how tired we are, pores need to be unclogged and skin thoroughly cleansed.

I recently brought you a review on one of my favorite waterproof gel eyeliners from Cailyn Cosmetics, (which you can find it HERE). Today I have a review on the Dizzolv’It Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm that removes all types of waterproof makeup, sunscreen and foundation without “stripping the skin.”

Beneficial ingredients:
*Papaya enzyme: “Dissolves dead skin cells, promotes renewal, improves texture, elasticity and appearance.”
*Acerola: “One of the richest sources of vitamin C, helps brighten complexion, contains antioxidants and improves uneven skin tone.”
Other natural ingredients include: aloe, flower extracts, olive fruit oil, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange extract and lemon extract.
Deep cleansing, massage and hydration:
The cleanser comes in a creamy, solid balm formula that works with the body’s temperature to melt into a silky liquid. The balm is formulated to thoroughly dissolve all makeup and rinse off completely to reveal “supple, radiant skin.” The great thing about this product is that it is made to deep cleanse but is  mild, non-drying and non-irritating

How to use:
1. Take a quarter size amount of balm and apply to dry face
2. Massage face in circular motions allowing balm to transform into oil
3. Rinse well with warm water or foaming cleanser

My Results:
I found that the best and least messy way to use the balm is by first applying it to a makeup wipe and then rubbing it in. The balm glides on smoothly and spreads over skin effortlessly into a pleasantly scented, non-drip oil. I put it to the test with a full face of makeup including glitter eye shadow, mascara and Cailyn’s waterproof gel eyeliner. It worked to emulsify foundation and eye shadow and it even removed glitter in just a few swipes! It took a bit of time to work into my lashes and loosen up the layers of mascara but it was gentle and did not burn. If it does gets into the eyes it is not harmful but the film can temporarily cloud your vision. The Dizzolv'It is more efficient than using a makeup wipe alone and it removes most traces of makeup so that less foaming cleanser is needed.

You can get the balm from the website HERE, (retail price: $35 per 100 ml / $24 per 50 ml)

  1. This sounds really nice! Every morning I'm always like, "Yay! I love makeup! I'm gonna put a bunch on!" but I dread taking it off so much.

    1. If you get the makeup remover in your hair it shouldn't be a problem, just rinse or wash it out. It is safe for use on the skin so it won't damage your hair.
