FusionBeauty Summer Must-Haves & GlowFusion Intuitive Active Bronzer Review

Now that the birds are chirping and the flowers are in full bloom it’s time for a little summer tantouring (contouring for a sunkissed effect) and shimmery, radiant skin. If you don’t have much time to enjoy the great outdoors or hit the beach, you can always fake a warm glow with a beautiful bronzer.

As the highlighting craze continues some beauty junkies have started using unconventional hues like green pigments to light up like a disco ball. I’m all for having fun with makeup but for everyday wear I like to keep it simple, elegant and pretty. What I like most about the GlowFusion bronzers is that they don’t contain large glittery chunks or discernible shimmery particles that leave behind an obvious streak of color. The lightweight, silky powders provide a natural glow that seems to emanate from within for healthy looking, dewy skin.

The GlowFusion Micro-Tech Intuitive Active Bronzer (what a mouthful) is available in 3 irresistible shades. For a natural effect, the shade closest to your undertone will appear most neutral but for a bold finish you can go darker or lighter. The swatches on the website aren’t a great representation of what the colors actually look like but they are all beautiful!

I have the shades: Radiance which is the medium hue in the range and Sunkissed - the deepest powder available. Radiance has an iridescent, golden finish with champagne, peachy undertones that are absolutely stunning! In fact this may be one of my new favorite highlights! It is so rich, silky and pigmented that it applies effortlessly and blends seamlessly for luminous results. Sunkissed has a warmer, bronzy finish that brightens and creates some definition. On my skin, it appears very subtle but on deeper complexions it would show up lighter and look fabulous! I think all 3 shades are suitable for most skin tones, it’s just a matter of which effect you prefer.

Aside from making your skin look enviously gorgeous, the formula is enriched with vitamins C and E to help diminish dark spots and fight wrinkles! It also protects against the elements with a unique complex revitalizer and the powders do not flake, cake or fade. The bronzers retail for $39.00 each.

The SculptDiva Contouring + Sculpting Blush is available in 3 shades - 2 pink tones and tan. The colors I have are - Gossip (tan) and Haute which are both very soft and subtle for a natural flush. The blushes have a creamy formula that instantly transforms into a lightweight matte powder as you blend and they stay put all day. The lush texture is easy to apply and makes skin look flawless by reducing pores.

Although the blushes are meant to provide a sculpting effect, I didn’t really get that. They do however contain rose bud extract and skin conditioners that increase hydration with every use. (They retail for $29.00 each).

Now that your skin is on-point and you’ve got your glow on, a vibrant lipstick is a must! I chose three shades that caught my eye from Fusion’s Plump + Shine Collection. I don’t know what it is with me and red lipstick but I can’t seem to stay away. The shade Moulin Rouge is a bold, seductive red that builds from medium to full coverage and has an alluring luminous finish that catches the light and makes lips appear full and beautiful. Tease (the middle shade) is a trendy bright pink with a mauve undertone that is suitable for every complexion and season. Temptation (far left) looks quite vivid but is actually soft and sheer with a coral tinge.

The formula is very smooth and easy to apply with excellent glide and layers of moisture to keep skin plush and hydrated. The finish is shiny but not too glossy or slick and they promote firmness and volume without bleeding. The lipsticks retail for $29.99 each.
